One of the reasons I agreed to go with my friends to Dahilayan was that I'd get to spend the entire day with them. You know, maybe making up for lost time. Or simply grabbing every opportunity to be with them before summer ends.
Ziplining.. or whatever term it is used.. was sooo out of plan. I think. I figured that it would be like last time, tons of people waiting in line.. so we'd probably end up racing on the ATV trails. NOT.
The first leg of the whole ride made me want to pass out and shit bricks. So probably you've figured out that I got my ass dragged into actually trying the ride. I screamed my head off. Well, that was until I started to realize how lovely the place looked from above. So, I totally felt kinda relaxed with what I saw. Which was good. Second leg of the ride, was so bitch-please-is-this-all-you've-got-bring-it-on kind of thing. :P
Third leg of the ride. I really didn't think much of it since I was still on a natural high brought about by the adrenaline rush. We were brought to the site where we're supposed to start the third leg of the ride. Goodness.. the trip to the site was sooo awesooome! We had such an amazing, crazy driver! We were practically bouncing and bumping all over the seats as you could imagine the rocky trail we had to SPEED through. Yes, that fast.
All geared up, my ever beloved partner Kyang and I went up to the tower and waited for our turn. We were the last ones to get to go down the line. I tried not to over think the situation I placed myself in.. "CHILL" was my personal mantra at that time. The next thing I knew, I was strapped to the cables, face down and was on my way out. It felt surreal.
At first, I tried to stifle my screams.. since I couldn't take it anymore since I felt like dying, shitting in my pants, wetting myself, barfing and crying all at the same time, I screamed like I have never screamed before. It was a good thing I wasn't good at remembering figures since at that time I forgot I was 4, 700 feet off the ground. I screamed for what seemed like forever when in fact it was..
THE BEST ONE MINUTE OF MY ENTIRE LIFE!
