Men who hate women.

I have finished my seventh book for this year which was The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson. This is the first book of the Millennium Trilogy. The story started off kind of slow paced but truly interesting. Before, I was quite hesitant if I'll ever get to read this trilogy (my mom bought the entire set, omg). It took me a while to get into the zone of reading. It's quite a complicated story (for me) because

  1. I am not entirely familiar with how the business world works.
  2. There were a ton of characters introduced in the story which had names that are impossible to pronounce. (Blomkvist? I don't even dare try to say it out loud. I might get shot for mispronouncing that)
  3. The world of law sort of bores me. Pardon me for saying that.
But with great effort, I have managed to read more than a quarter of the book and the story suddenly kicks its pace. It touched on issues such as corruption, rape, and family. I totally got creeped out when the Vanger family's skeletons in their closet were exposed. It gets to be an addictive read once you get to the parts just when Lisbeth Salander and Mikael Blomkvist are so close to cracking the case of Harriet Vanger's disappearance. You will not believe how the story ends. I truly recommend that you guys read this vintage crime novel. Stieg Larsson has his ways of keeping his readers at the edge of their seats!
