Were you close enough to see?

Summer last year, I was in Singapore enjoying every ounce of its beauty. I have not been able to blog about that Singapore trip. Well, I did but it was about Ate Kristy and I meeting up for lunch. So, yes.. Singapore. I was proper excited to get a feel of an out of the country trip. We arrived at around midnight I think. I was expecting a cooler weather when I get off the four hour trip from Cebu to Singapore. Oh gosh, how stupid of me. Of course it's supposed to be warm since its near the equator.

The moment I stepped out of the airplane, warm air hit my face. But it was a lovely kind of warmth. I was trying to take everything in, one breath at a time. I was such a giddy little tourist deep inside. We got our passports checked at the airport and we're out of there. My dad hailed a cab but unfortunately, the maximum capacity of their cab is four persons. We had to split up. So, there's Mommy and my brother on one cab and Daddy, my sister, and I on another one. I kept on telling myself that everything is real, that I am actually in Singapore (forgive me for being such an ignorant, hello! First out of the country trip). We stayed over at a family friend's house in Hougang. I couldn't wait until morning! I was pumped to explore Singapore. Singapore was very clean and "organized".

By the entrance of Suntec City. The place was very huge.

We rode the MRT to Suntec City. It was such an awesome mall because it was humongous. There were a ton of shops. I want to get inside every single one of them.

I love this food court. So many food that you get to choose from.

Directory. Lol I was such a tourist.

The architecture was so awesome. It totally blew me away.

We got a little hungry from roaming around and being blown away by the awesomeness of the place, we dropped by Burger King. I was amazed because the people who served us were old. Like around 50-60 years old. Yet, they're still working. Here in the Philippines, I only see young people working at fast food chains. I also fell in love with their Jasmine Green Tea. It was very refreshing.

Whew. That was a lengthy post. I think I'll end there for now. My eyes are starting to hurt from all the reading I did earlier this afternoon. I swear, I shall continue blogging about my Singapore trip last 2012 tomorrow or when I get to. :)
